About Warrandyte & Warrandyte North

Warrandyte was among one of Victorias gold rich town, alongside Bendigo and Ballarat. Gold was first discovered in Warrandyte in 1851, which drove the Victorian gold rush.

 

Warrandyte is located in the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, approximately 24 kilometres from the CBD. The local governing area for the suburb is the city of Manningham, which according to the 2011 census had a total population of 5,520 people.

The famous Anderson’s Creek, was the first place that gold was discovered in Warrandyte, by Louis Michel.

Warrandytes very first post office was opened on the 1st of August 1857.

    Mark impressed us from the get-go with his knowledge of the market and friendly, down to earth nature. After nearly a year of looking for a property ourselves including failed bids at auction and unsuccessful offers he helped us to negotiate a winning offer (in a market with limited stock) within a month of us first engaging him.
