About Thomastown

Thomastown was first recognised in 1848, when John Honniball Thomas and the Mary nee Hartnell family decided to purchase 106 acres worth of land for market gardening, which is about growing fruits and vegetables on a relatively small scale.

 

Thomastown is located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, approximately 17 km of the CBD. The local governing area for the suburb is the City of Whittlesea. The 2016 census indicated that Thomastown had a population of 20,523 people.

Thomastown is very well known for sharing its area with Westgarthtown, which is a heritage listed area located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, including Lalor and Thomastown.

    Average service. There are more simple and better options that I could find.
    I was expecting a more proactive service for my property.
